Q:Why is the preview screen completely white but the FPS appears to be normal?

Answer:

It may occur due to the overexposure. You need to reduce the exposure setting or reduce the gain setting until you can see the image on the screen. If you can see the fps  changes ,then the camera is working properly.

I just wanted to focus the camera but I can’t find anything on how to do that. I have a ZWO 533 camera. I have downloaded every piece of software but still I can’t figure out something as simple as turning on the camera, getting an image and focus it. Once there I will try the next step and actually try and take a photo. I am not even sure how to turn on the camera or if it is on for that matter.

Did you get the right back focus and adjust the exposure settings?
