The 2nd Star Party of Yangtze River Delta ended successfully – a wonderful review

The 2nd Star Party of Yangtze River Delta was successfully held in Anji Tianhuangping on December 1st and 2nd. We are excited to introduce you dribs and drabs of the event.

ZWO team arrived at the Resort Hotel Jiangnan Tianchi in Tianhuangping on the evening of November 30th. When we got off the bus and saw the familiar and warm subtitles: "Welcome the astronomy enthusiasts from all over the Yangtze River Delta!"

We were so proud, this was the gathering of astronomy lovers, and it’s our honor to have our fans to be here for this event!


As soon as we went into the lobby, we saw the sign-in desk. Hangzhou Astronomical Society as the organizer prepared everything in advance, how effective they are! Thumbs up!


ZWO team met the Hangzhou Astronomical Society for the first time. Everyone was very happy. Both sides are full of confidence in this Star Party.


At 1:30 pm on December 1, the opening ceremony of the conference began on time.


The organizer of the Star Party: the head of the Hangzhou Astronomical Society, Chuchu, delivered the opening speech.
At this event, every person in the Hangzhou Astronomical Society has paid a lot, and everyone worked so hard.
Chuchu, as the head and promoter of the Yangtze River Delta Star Conference, spared no effort to this event, so admirable!


ZWO, being the biggest sponsor of this event, we also provided suggestions for the event arrangement and equipment exhibition, mobilized the exhibition and contributed our own strength.

It was getting dark, the outdoor venue was very lively.

People looked at the sunset and talked about the observation plan tonight.

ASIAIR team was preparing for live demonstration in Tianhuangping for the first time.

The DSO imaging area is located near the entrance of the reservoir scenic spot, it is convenient to get the power supply, the platform is spacious and the view is wide. It can accommodate more than 20 devices. That evening gathered a lot of DSO enthusiasts.

The Star Party had favorable climatic and geographic conditions and many astronomy lovers.

Two clear nights, especially the night of the Star Party, it was clear all night, almost windless, and not cold at all.

As the organizer of the two sessions, Jiangnan Tianchi Resort of Anji fully supported the event and strongly hoped to make it become the permanent meeting place of the Star Party yearly! Since then, Star Party of Yangtze River Delta already had a home. 

According to preliminary statistics, the number of people who have attended this meeting has already exceeded 500, and it has already exploded in the moment of WeChat and Weibo, and the popularity is overwhelming.
